A Head chef with strong ambition, focus and extraordinary flair is required to demonstrate their passion for quality food and place this truly unique property on the culinary destinations map as the dining destination of choice for anyone with a love of good food seeking an exquisite dining experience.

Following an extensive renovation and refurbishment programme this exceptional property will soon re-awaken as a luxury five star boutique hotel. As a key local destination within the heart of a picturesque and vibrant community the property will offer high quality Rosette standard dining experiences with an the atmospheric environment offering outstanding coastal views; 46 sumptuous and cosy bedrooms; together with a choice of enchanting Event spaces ideal for corporate or private events.

To be successful in the role of Head Chef you will ideally:

  • Have a comprehensive repertoire of both classical and contemporary dishes enabling you to create and interesting and balanced menu which has wide appeal
  • A thorough understanding of, and ability to deliver, minimum 2 Rosette standards on a consistent basis
  • Exceptional planning and organisational skills to ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen and compliance with existing Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations
  • Strong commitment to ongoing team development with proven training skills
  • Be enthusiastic about developing long lasting relationships with local suppliers to secure the best quality locally sources products
  • Have effective strategies for ensuring effective delivery of consistent food margins in line with budgeted expectations
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to harmonious Team Working
  • Demonstrate Effective Communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Possess a minimum Intermediate Food Hygiene level qualification or higher

This role would suit:

  • An established Head Chef operating within a similar quality environment such as Fine Dining Restaurant with Rooms or Luxury Boutique Hotel / Country House style property


  • A Senior Sous chef keen to take on full accountability in their first Head Chef role with compatible previous experience, including events, to deliver the vision for this delightful and charming Hotel with enviable coastal outlook.
