An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager which is now required for our client, a dynamic and innovative company specialising in the creation, delivery and support of CRM systems and services specifically designed for the Legal profession. Already achieving award winning status with the ILFM in recognition of their products and services our client is looking to enhance the existing Sales Team and develop their customer base amongst small and medium sized Law Firms in the UK.

More than just just a CRM system they offer a comprehensive and efficient suite of software enabling the highly effective administration of Legal Accounts, Practice Management and Case Management requirements.

The Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

Scope And General Purpose

To ensure the Company is at the forefront of its market and in order to best serve our existing clients and to grow the business through the provision of innovation and quality user friendly software. Sell industry leading software and services to the legal profession based on a SAAS model with a monthly fee for each user license.

Key Tasks And Duties, Actions And Responsibilities

• Create a sales team structure that covers lead generation / Demonstration / closing of deals.

• Manage the sales team on a daily basis re: activity / pipeline.

• Monthly reporting on sales / pipeline

• Work with the Marketing department to ensure alignment on marketing activities

• Provide support to more junior members of the sales team.

The Successful Sales Manager Will:

  • Possess an established track record of success in a similar/related sector
  • Be fully numerate and IT literate, preferably with a broad understanding of CRM and Accounting software programmes
  • Be experienced in Business to Business Sales
  • Demonstrate highly organised approach to their work with strong attention to detail
  • Have an aptitude for establishing strong rapport with clients and delivering engaging presentations
  • Be flexible in their approach to working patterns and amenable to travel with overnight stays when required
  • Demonstrate a flair for effective communication combined with a friendly personality and excellent standard of personal presentatio
  • An aptitude for being a professional Brand Ambassador and managing multiple priorities in pressurised situations
  • Be committed to continuous professional development
  • Have a collaborative approach to success, valuing the inputs and contribution of the wider Team
  • Have previous experience of effectively managing a Sales Team of up to 8, ensuring consistent delivery of KPI’s and quality performance
